Terms and Conditions
- I have the right to refuse any fic that I deem outside of my comfort zone.
- For commissions, an estimate price for the fic will be agreed prior to writing starting. The final price will be based on word count, rounded to the nearest increment, up to an agreed maximum budget.
- For adoptions, the stated fixed fee will apply, regardless of final wordcount, unless changes that increase the word count are as a direct result of your request, to be charged at my discretion.
- Payments are made 50% upfront upon agreement of an outline, and the final 50% to be paid after a first draft has been provided via paypal or Ko-fi. Once the first draft has been provided, they are non-refundable.
- I will provide a first draft for review, a full edit and minor edit. Any additional changes beyond that may be chargeable.
- First draft – I create a rough first pass of the fic, this will be accessible via a link to an online document.
- First edit – You can highlight any changes you want at this stage. I review the fic for any suggested changes, errors, tone of voice, etc. and create an updated version.
- Minor edit – At this stage you can point out any minor changes that you would like, but the fic is pretty much locked in.
- Final Fic - I give the fic a final once over for grammar, spelling, and any minor edit suggestions, before providing the final version as a PDF.
- I will post the fic to my AO3 account as a gift due to AO3’s terms of services. You can choose for the fic to be gifted anonymously if you’d preferer. You may repost your commission to other platforms, but must credit me and not claim the work as your own.
- If any changes require significant rewriting, or increase the word count, additional charges may apply.
- All fics will be written in British English.
- Reselling, reproducing, or modifying the content of the fic for posting elsewhere is prohibited.
